KE members attended an evening of inspiring experiences and Life-Long Business Lessons with Mr. Leo Quadros – Chairman of Bangalore Regency Developers at the Quad Club – Nandi Hills on the 4th of October 2024.
They spent the evening over a delicious dinner and fellowship after an electrifying session with Mr. Leo. He took the attendees on a journey through his career timeline and his transition from a B.E Tech to his present position as Chairman of one of the largest BMRDA approved projects in North Bangalore.
His business empire has extended into Holiday Home Villas, Adventure Parks, Resorts and Senior Living communities, these are just a testament to his hard work.
His Reasons for success are many but can be narrowed down to the following:
Hard Work, Timing, Networking, Confidence, Courage. All of this accompanied by his faith has made for a perfect blend of success.
- Leo stands by his belief that there is no substitute for hard work. Log in the hours and reap the benefits. Don’t expect others to do your hard work, your employees look up to you as an example.
- Believe that everything has a time and place. Be at the right place at the right time and don’t let go of any opportunities to push yourself.
- Leo believes that every level in the corporate hierarchy plays an important part for the company’s growth. Your cleaner is as important as your director, they both should reflect your vision, and you should be able to network at all levels. Even outside your business – networking provides you with the capacity to create opportunities.
- Never back down from a challenge. Your confidence will stand out and NOT your degree. In a room full of Engineers Leo was chosen for a job that required a particular skill. He was just a BE Tech but his confidence outshined his competitors. Confidence in yourself comes from your faith that God has your back.
Take risks! Have the courage to dream big and take the necessary steps to achieve this dream. If you go against the tide, be sure to have enough force to pull through.
Leo believes that having the right Life partner is also essential to your success. His biggest cheerleader and support is his wife Juliet who is the Managing Director of their company. Together they have overcome many obstacles and continue to work in perfect agreement to build their empire. The one thing that he thinks he could have done better was spend more time with his kids – this was his biggest challenge. Leo urges every business owner to make time through their busy schedule to be with their children.
It is by God’s grace that their children are a part of the business and that they all thrive together in a well-balanced environment. Their children and grandchildren are a testimony to their inspiring story and are an integral part of their lives.
KE members were enthralled with the many stories Mr. Leo dished out and had a good laugh at his sense of humor even in the most difficult situations. Being one of the founding members of KE we believe that he has offered the group a plethora of wisdom and opportunity.
