KE BLR Founders’ Fiesta – By Sabitha Lasrado- We Didn’t Plan to Be Entrepreneurs…But Here We Are!

Founder’s Fiesta once again proved to be a platform where stories transform into lessons and journeys inspire action.

The latest edition of Founder’s Fiesta was hosted by Saibtha Lasrado, Partner, CB4 at Catholic Club on 28th February 2026 was an inspiring and insightful morning that brought together members for meaningful learning and connection. The session began with a vibrant networking breakfast, offering participants the opportunity to engage in enriching conversations over a delightful spread.

Ms. Sabitha Lasrado was introduced by Mr. Sunil Attavar, Director Mentoring, KE Bengaluru following which she shared her candid and compelling entrepreneurial journey — one that was not strategically planned but evolved organically through life experiences, discipline, and continuous learning.

Early Foundations
Growing up in Valencia, Mangalore, in a disciplined middle-class household, Sabitha was shaped by her father’s entrepreneurial journey and her mother’s resilience. Though entrepreneurship was not her first aspiration, early exposure to responsibility and perseverance laid the foundation for her leadership mindset.
Her schooling years strengthened her confidence. Encouraged by mentors who nurtured her potential, she actively participated in academics, sports, and cultural activities — learning that belief from others ignites belief in oneself.

Academic & Professional Journey
After completing her Pre-University education in science, she pursued Civil Engineering at MIT, Manipal, graduating with distinction.
Her corporate career began in marketing and later in the steel division of an MNC, where she gained exposure to high-pressure environments and complex team dynamics. Eventually, she made the bold decision to step away — a turning point that led her toward entrepreneurship.
