What does Leadership look like in the age of AI?
That question brought together entrepreneurs, professionals, and industry leaders at the Kanara Entrepreneurs Members’ Meet in Bengaluru for an evening of learning, leadership, and meaningful connections anchored by Roushnee Sur.
The programme commenced with an invocation by Stan D’Souza, followed by the Installation Ceremony of the Newly Elected Board of Directors, facilitated by Clarence Pereira, Past President. Outgoing Directors Leena Lobo, and Immediate Past President Claudius Pereira were recognized for their dedicated service.
The newly installed Board comprises Naveen R D’Souza (President-Elect), Zaveena Lobo (Director – Membership), and Sunil Attavar and Roshan Sequeira, who were re-elected as Director – Mentoring and Director – Events respectively.
A key milestone of the evening was the induction of 20 new members from diverse industries, facilitated by Zaveena Lobo, further enriching the KE community with fresh perspectives and expertise.
In his address, Pramod DSouza, President, reflected on the association’s journey and encouraged members to embrace learning, innovation, growth, and collaboration.
The highlight of the evening was a panel discussion on “Leadership in the Era of AI,” featuring Caroline Mendez, CEO, Stalwart Group, and RANGANATH SADASIVA, CTO, HPE India, moderated by James Coelho. The session explored AI’s impact on leadership, innovation, and business strategy while reinforcing the importance of human-centric leadership.
An interactive Mentimeter survey, conducted by Sunil Attavar, revealed strong confidence in AI adoption, with only 4% expressing uncertainty about leading AI-driven change. The event received an overwhelmingly positive response, with 91% rating it Excellent or Very Good.
A special thank you to Jennifer, the Women’s Group, Gen Now Group, and all members whose contributions made the event a success. The evening concluded with networking and dinner, strengthening relationships and creating new opportunities for collaboration.
As emphasized in the President’s address, the year ahead is one of Growth—in business, network, knowledge, and impact—while remaining rooted in humility and gratitude.
