Kanara Entrepreneurs (KE) successfully conducted the 2nd session of its flagship program, Business Accelerator on Wednesday, October 25th. This session was focused on two important data points that a founder or a business leader should track from a profitability aspect, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV).
Ajay Fernandes, a lead member of KE with 20+ years of business experience and master of measuring business data through various MIS (Management Information System) related tools, conducted this session imparting his vast knowledge in the subject of business data that are important for decision making with special focus on CAC and CLTV.
Ajay gave his own examples of acquiring customers and his team persisting for multiple years to acquire the initial set of customers. He also gave insights on different cost items to include while calculating CAC.
On the other hand, he helped the participants with a simple way of computing lifetime value (revenues) of a customer. He touched upon the important ratio of CLTV by CAC and how one can arrive at profitability going by the same.
Overall it was a very insightful and engaging session. Business owners must focus on key business parameters and data which can help them to course correct, change strategies or even pivot as needed.
