KE Concludes Inaugural Business Accelerator Program
Kanara Entrepreneurs (KE), a not for profit mutual benefit networking organisation having more than 350 members in Bangalore Chapter successfully concluded its inaugural Business Accelerator program on 27th March 2024.
This program was an initiative of KE Bangalore Chapter, with 30 of its members registered for this paid program. It was a 6-month program helping participants with practical knowledge of Business and startups.
Anoop Sequeira, Director – Mentoring, KE Bangalore, kick-started this program with a session on ‘Ideation’ in the month of September 2023. The subsequent session in October 2023 was on ‘Startup Metrics’ which was delivered by Ajay Fernandes, Chartered Accountant and Lead Member – KE Bangalore.
Rohit Fernandes, Lead Member – KE Bangalore, who is also the Co-Founder & CEO of Brands of Bharat helped participants with a session on ‘Startup Funding’ in November 2023. While there was no session during December due to the holiday season, the program resumed in January 2024 with a session on ‘Startup Valuation’ by Ivor Misquith, member of KE-Bangalore and Founder of Indorient Financial Services.
The next session was on the ‘Legal aspects of Startup and Business Funding’ in February 2024. Jatin Tehri, Chartered Accountant and Managing Partner at JTST & Co LLP was the guest speaker for this session.
Final session of the program was held on 27th March 2024 on ‘Managing Business Risks & Maximizing Chances of Success’ by Pramod D’Souza, Associate Director – Mentoring at KE Bangalore and Co-Founder at Eagle10 Ventures.
Claudius Pereira, President – KE Bangalore distributed the certificates to all the participants. “KE’s vision is to nurture entrepreneurship and this certificate program is a great value add to its members especially those who did not have the opportunity to attend a formal MBA program but are completely involved in running their respective businesses. Next financial year this program is going to get bigger and better incorporating the feedback from participants” he mentioned while addressing to participants.
James Coelho, Director – Membership at KE Bangalore, was very happy with this program. He felt it is a great initiative adding value to KE members.
KE had opened this program for external members as well and a few participants outside of KE also leveraged this opportunity.
