KE Bengaluru conducts VisionX programme to promote entrepreneurship among Christian youth

KE Bengaluru hosted VisionX to Inspire Young Christian Entrepreneurs on October 26th 2025.
An Event Sponsored by – Mr Sharath Mascarenhas (MishMash Finserve LLP)

Over 90 young participants gathered at the Catholic Club for VisionX: Vision to Venture, a first-of-its-kind initiative by Kanara Entrepreneurs (KE) to encourage Christian youth to embrace entrepreneurship.

The half-day event began with a prayer by Antony Saldanha, followed by an energetic ice-breaker session. Claudius Pereira, Founder & MD of STI Infotech and past KE Bangalore President, delivered the keynote, urging participants to “shift gears when you’re doing well” — a call to embrace change with discipline and purpose.

Pramod D’Souza, Co-Founder of Eagle10 Ventures and current KE Bangalore President, emphasized that no venture thrives in isolation, highlighting the power of community and collaboration.

The highlight was the Idea to Action Workshop, led by Leena Lobo (Angelina Consultancy Services) and Rohit Fernandes (Brands of Bharat). Divided into 16 teams, participants developed and pitched business ideas, guided by KE mentors. They also played investors, evaluating and “funding” other teams’ pitches.

The Gather Studio emerged as the top winner, earning the Best Pitch and Strongest Why (shared with Chef Robinhood), while MediMind impressed with its clarity and innovation.

A financial planning session with Sharath Mascarenhas (MishMash Finserve LLP) and Jyoti Menezes (Thrive with Jyoti LLP) offered practical insights on building sustainable ventures.

Elton D’Souza introduced KE Gen Now, a platform for members under 40 to network and collaborate. In closing, Eugene Mathias thanked all sponsors, speakers, mentors, and partners for making VisionX a success.

A live survey showed 97% of participants would recommend VisionX, calling it “worth the travel.” The event concluded with networking and shared inspiration — reminding all that entrepreneurship is not just about business, but about purpose, resilience, and faith in action.
