KE Dubai proudly hosted its annual conference on October 12, at the Icon Deluxe Hotel Apartments, bringing together leaders and members from various chapters, including Bengaluru, Goa, and Dubai. The event aimed to foster collaboration among established and aspiring entrepreneurs, SMEs, and working professionals. The evening was filled with opportunities for networking and insightful discussions, as many members traveled from across India – including Bengaluru, Goa, Mumbai, and Mangaluru – to engage in this enriching experience.
The conference began with an inspiring introduction to KEL’s mission and guiding principles. Claudius Pereira, president of KE Bengaluru, facilitated a dynamic speed networking session, allowing attendees to connect with multiple members. A welcome performance by Karnataka Educational Award winner Sthuti D’Sa added to the evening’s festivities. Dorothy Fernandes, president of KE Dubai, welcomed guests and shared highlights of KE Dubai’s achievements.
A key highlight of the event was a panel discussion featuring mentoring experts and a speaker from StartUp Launchpad, an initiative designed to empower aspiring entrepreneurs with the essential skills and knowledge needed to launch and grow their businesses. The discussion was moderated by Ivan Fernandes, chairman of KE Global. Additionally, Claudius Pereira provided insights into the achievements of KE Bengaluru.
The audience was inspired by three speakers: Pramod D’Souza and Sunil D’Sa from Bengaluru, along with Albert Rodrigues from Dubai who shared their transformative journeys into entrepreneurship. Following their presentations, Baylon Vaz, president of KE Goa, introduced his team and discussed their progress.
The gathering was further enriched by remarks from J R Lobo, advisor of Rachana Mangaluru and former MLR of Mangaluru South, who commended KEL for its 20 years of impactful presence in the community. He invited all members to celebrate Rachana’s upcoming event in Mangaluru. Ivan Fernandes concluded the evening by expressing gratitude to all speakers and contributors, presenting tokens of appreciation for their efforts.
Shobha Mendonca, director of marketing & sponsorship, delivered the vote of thanks, recognizing the active involvement of all participants. The programme was seamlessly hosted by Clevan Mendonca, an active KEL member whose contributions were instrumental in the event’s success.
