The KE Goa Members Meet, held on June 27, 2025, at the beautiful Carina Beach Resort in Benaulim, was a resounding success.
The evening commenced with a welcome address by the KE Goa Chapter President, Baylon Sequeira Vaz. He shared insights from his recent visit to Bengaluru for the induction of the new KE Bengaluru Board of Directors (BoD). Baylon highlighted the fresh energy brought by Pramod D’Souza as the new President and celebrated the induction of KEG Lead Member, Sunil Attavar, as the Director of Mentoring for KE Bengaluru, a significant advantage for KE Goa. He emphasized that this first year for KEG is focused on building a strong foundation and promised even better events in the coming years. Baylon also reminded members that the first year of KEG concludes in August and encouraged membership renewals.
Keynote Session: Are You an Entrepreneur, Solopreneur, or Intrapreneur?
The main highlight of the meet was an impactful session by esteemed keynote speaker Raymond D’Souza, a renowned Passionpreneur and SME Coach. His deep and remarkably well-channeled speech on “Are you an Entrepreneur, Solopreneur or Intrapreneur?” offered profound insights. A powerful takeaway was the concept of Value Escalators:
- Personal Values
- Commercial Value Proposition
- Business Models
- Building a Network
- Developing a Cohesive Team
Raymond D’Souza underscored the importance of “Putting people over profit” and left attendees with a thought-provoking question: “If you can’t think, you will be replaced by AI/Robots.” His approach resonated deeply, providing a clear pathway for growth.
Insights from KE Bengaluru and a Call to Action for KE Goa
Following the keynote, Guest Speaker Sunil Attavar, Director of Mentoring for KE Bengaluru, presented valuable insights into KE Bengaluru’s operations. He introduced their new BoD, explained their meeting frequency, and detailed their year-round program organization. Sunil announced that mentoring would become more workshop-oriented and that he would revive the 1:1 mentoring sessions, where a mentor would be assigned to a mentee for an eight-month hand-holding period.
Sunil set an inspiring call to action for KEG, emphasizing that alongside passion and competence, a defined process and a clear purpose are essential for success.
KE Lead members brilliantly organized the event. Ninio Correia’s impeccable and masterful mceeing truly set the tone, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere from start to finish. Rhona Gama e Menezes delivered the vote of thanks.
The evening concluded with networking over dinner and cocktails. The event was a “superduper success,” and members dispersed eagerly anticipating the next meet. All attendees received the unique business souvenir unveiled at the KE Goa launch on January 18, 2025, which captures the essence of Goa and the spirit of KE Entrepreneurship, along with the latest KE News Letter.
