• Career Journey and Entrepreneurship: Vilina discussed her professional background in various recruitment roles before venturing into entrepreneurship with Docens Training and HR Consulting Pvt Ltd, specializing in senior non-IT recruitment and HR consulting and statutory compliances.
• Challenges and Perseverance: She shared candidly about the obstacles she faced early in her entrepreneurial journey and how she overcame them with perseverance and a long-term vision, supported by timely advice from a friend about giving herself 3 years or 1000 days.
• Power of Collaboration and Mentorship: Vilina highlighted the importance of collaboration among recruitment consultants for mutual success. She also emphasized the transformative impact of mentorship in her career, citing examples of mentors who influenced her skills and mindset.
• Values and Satisfaction: Reflecting on her achievements, Vilina expressed satisfaction in being self-sustained and avoiding the pressures of the corporate “rat race”. She underscored the importance of aligning personal values with professional decisions.
