KE Members Leverage and Lead with LinkedIn

Kanara Entrepreneurs (KE) convened for their Members Meet on Friday, 19th April 2024 at The Grand Magrath, Bangalore. The event, which saw a very good turnout, featured a Guest Talk on Building your Brand with LinkedIn.

With KE Lead Member George Timothy leading with the KE prayer, the event was off to a start with the welcome speech from KE President, Claudius Pereira. Claudius took the opportunity to share the invaluable power of KE that went beyond business relationships and extended to innovative and creative tapping into our network to be of assistance to the KE family.

Next, KE Director Membership, James Coelho, presided over the dignified New Members’s Induction ceremony – welcoming 15 new multifaceted members from diverse fields.

The KE Board of Directors: Director Mentoring, Anoop Sequeira, Director Membership, James Coelho, Director Events, Sunil D’Sa, Director Finance, Anil Rego & Director Marketing and Sponsorships, Naveen D’Souza all presented a concise Flashback of the past year in their domain. It was a proud showcase  of highlights including exceptional Flagship events, induction of a record 100 new members to KE, meeting budget allocations and garnering support in the form of sponsorships.

Guest Speaker, Naveen Kattemane, suavely engaged the members with a brilliant presentation on Personal Branding using LinkedIn.  His focus on the 3 Pillars of LinkedIn saw avid interaction from the audience with many members keen to take up his offer for a 30-minute LinkedIn audit.

The emcee for the evening, Carol Pinto, followed up the session with KE’s key purpose – networking – by facilitating an art-themed networking activity. While members delved back to their childhood days of scribbles and crayons, Luvena Rangel stitched together the activity by highlighting the power of collaboration and seeing each other as potential partners in our areas of expertise and business.

The bustling conversations and pleasant laughter that emanated over dinner were indicative of yet another KE event done right. A big note of thanks to the KE Board of Directors, mentors, lead members and members for their time, effort & consistent show of support.
