KE BLR Women’s Meet – A Morning of Empowerment, Elegance and Ensemble
KE BLR Women’s Meet – A Morning of Empowerment, Elegance and Ensemble
26th July 2025 | 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM | St. Joseph’s Institute of Management (SJIM)
A radiant morning saw 50 dynamic KE women unite to celebrate, connect, and collaborate.
The day kicked off with a warm breakfast, followed by our host Alisha, whose energy set the tone. Savitha Furtado grounded the gathering with a heartfelt prayer.
Mr. Pramod D’Souza, KE BLR President, delivered an inspiring message — urging women to become job creators, not seekers. He left us with a powerful mantra: Courage. Confidence. Connections.
He also acknowledged the core team — Laveena D’Souza, Anitha Gomes, Sabitha Lasrado, the executive committee, and all contributors. The journey that began under Leena Lobo, supported by then-President Clarence Pereira, was further shaped by Luvena Rangel. Now, Laveena takes over to lead with renewed vision.
Alisha thanked Mr. Pramod for his unwavering support and belief in KE Women’s Group.
Next, the much-awaited session “Sharpen Your Styling Skills and Etiquette” by Vrinda Lewis brought fresh insights on style, self-image, and the power of clothing. Quoting Marilyn Monroe: “Strong women don’t have attitude. They have standards.”
A proud moment followed as Fr. Roshan Pereira, Director of SJIM, was felicitated by Ann Attavar, recognizing the KE–SJIM collaboration and the vibrant feminine energy present.
Cheer filled the hall with fun spot games! Special Thanks to Dr. Nina Pias for sponsoring prizes, and Mr. Vijay Joseph Lobo of Scent Salon for gifting discount vouchers. Meeta Prabhu and Marie Padival handed out prizes with infectious enthusiasm.
The tone turned reflective with Leanne Pais (Unopened Box), who guided an insightful session on the Invisible Load, energy, and roles women juggle. She reminded us: “You are not alone.”
Leena Lobo, Director – Membership, encouraged women to “bring one more” and strengthen the KE network.
Laveena D’Souza shared an exciting KE calendar, inviting active involvement. Brenda Fernandes offered a graceful vote of thanks, and real-time feedback via Mentimeter gave everyone a voice.
Special thanks to Evonne Gomes, who captured the day’s candid moments, and to Carol Dsouza. (The Mangalorean Restaurant), for the nostalgic Patholi treat.
The morning closed with connection, reflection, and renewed purpose. More than a meeting — it was a movement of energy, elegance, and empowerment.
